Chicago Corporate DJ Events
Meet the Family DJ Team
DJ Retro Russ Fritz, DJ Rusty Records and DJ Snickelfritz combine 49 years of professional
DJ and entertainment experience with broad music knowledge, live-performance perspective
and practical event-production skills.
Three DJs. Generations of Music Knowledge.
More Than a One-Person DJ Business
Chicago Corporate DJ Events is an experienced family DJ team serving corporate events,
private celebrations, weddings, venues, organizations and themed programs throughout
Chicagoland and Southeastern Wisconsin. Each DJ brings a different musical and production
perspective, but the goal is shared: understand the room, respect the event and make the
entertainment feel connected from the first announcement through the final song.
Russ’s sons grew up around his collection of approximately 30,000 records. That environment
created familiarity with artists, eras, styles and the connections between them. The collection
is not simply a number or a display; it represents years of listening, comparing versions,
learning what moves different audiences and understanding why the right song at the right moment
matters more than a generic list of popular titles.
The Chicago Corporate DJ Events Team
Meet the Three DJs
The team combines long-term nightclub and mobile-DJ experience with wedding entertainment,
live sound, audio and video production, musicianship and performance. Those backgrounds give
clients several useful perspectives while keeping the event under one coordinated plan.

Professional DJ, Host & Retro Specialist
DJ Retro Russ Fritz
Russ brings 49 years of professional DJ and entertainment experience. His background spans
changing music formats, nightclub rooms, mobile events and audiences with very different
expectations. His history includes the Playboy Clubs in the 1970s; the Snuggery, Oliver’s
and Doc Weeds in the 1980s; Buffalo Bar and Wrigley Field in the 1990s; and later work at
Cubby Bear, Durty Nellie’s, Freddie’s in Fox Lake, the Arcada Theater and venues in California.
That experience supports his approach to programming: prepare thoroughly, read the room and
adjust without losing the purpose of the event. Retro music is a specialty, but the larger skill
is connecting decades and styles for corporate groups, private clients and multigenerational audiences.

Wedding Entertainment, Audio, Video & Live Sound
DJ Rusty Records
DJ Rusty Records adds experience in wedding entertainment, video production, audio production
and live sound. He is also a drummer, bringing a musician’s awareness of timing, transitions,
dynamics and the way rhythm changes the energy of a room.
His combined entertainment and technical background is valuable when an event includes more
than a playlist. Microphones, speeches, formal moments, video, room sound and music all have to
support the same schedule. Rusty’s perspective helps connect those elements while keeping the
guest experience clear and natural.

DJ, Nightclub DJ, Guitar & Vocals
DJ Snickelfritz
DJ Snickelfritz is a DJ and nightclub DJ as well as a guitar player and singer. His background
gives the team another point of view on performance, musical flow and how audiences respond when
the energy changes during an event.
Growing up with the same large record collection created a broad musical base, while performing
as a musician added a live perspective. That combination supports venue entertainment, dance events
and programs where pacing, personality and crowd awareness are as important as individual song choices.

How the Team Approaches an Event
Different Strengths, One Coordinated Plan
A successful event is not created by music knowledge alone. The room, schedule, sound, announcements,
production needs and guest mix have to work together. The family-team structure brings several relevant
disciplines into that planning process.
Broad Music Knowledge
A shared foundation across decades and genres helps the team plan for mixed ages, themes and changing audience response.
Performance Perspective
Nightclub work, drums, guitar and vocals add practical understanding of timing, energy and musical flow.
Production Awareness
Audio, video, live sound, lighting and projection can be considered with the entertainment instead of treated as unrelated pieces.
Audience-First Decisions
The event purpose and the people attending guide the pacing, interaction and music direction.
Experience Applied to Your Event
A Team Built for Different Kinds of Rooms
Corporate events need professional presentation. Weddings need careful handling of formal moments.
Venue programs need a concept people can understand. Private and community events often bring several
generations together. The team adjusts the entertainment plan to the event instead of forcing every room
into the same format.
Service can begin with DJ and MC support, then include sound, lighting, video, projection or interactive
entertainment when those elements serve the program. Clients can compare the available options before
deciding what belongs in the final plan.
